Terms of service

Last updated: October 29, 2026

By using this website or submitting a request, you agree to these terms.

Referral service only. Island Mobile Mechanics is a free referral service. We are not a mechanic or repair shop, we do not employ mechanics, and we do not perform, supervise or guarantee any vehicle work. Mechanics you are connected with are independent businesses.

Your agreement is with the provider. Each independent provider sets their own prices, payment terms, warranties and availability. Any diagnosis, estimate, repair or payment is an agreement between you and that provider. Please confirm the scope, price and terms with the provider before work begins.

No guarantees. We do our best to connect you with a provider who serves your area, but we cannot guarantee that a provider will be available, how quickly they will respond, or the quality or results of their work.

Your responsibilities. You are responsible for choosing whether to hire a provider and for making sure the vehicle is in a safe location where work is allowed. Many condo and apartment complexes do not permit repairs in their parking areas, so check your building's rules first.

Information only. Content on this website is general information, not professional advice or a binding quote.

Text messages. If you agree to receive text messages, you may receive messages related to your service request from Island Mobile Mechanics and the provider you are connected with. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Island Mobile Mechanics is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or from any work, advice or service provided by an independent provider.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii.

Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated.
